Position Overview:

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking an experienced AR Staff Accountant to join their team in North Carolina. This position is a crucial part of the accounting department, focusing on managing accounts receivable processes and ensuring accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage full cycle accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Conduct collections efforts to ensure prompt payment from clients.
  • Oversee vendor management to maintain effective relationships and resolve discrepancies.
  • Utilize Excel skills, including V-Lookups, to analyze data and prepare reports.
  • Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Maintain organized records and documentation to support financial audits.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in accounts receivable or related accounting roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of V-Lookups.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams.
  • Experience with journal entries and general accounting principles.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday, First Shift

Salary:

Pay ranges from $28 to $32 per hour.
